Ron Riley creates mixed media paintings on paper and canvas using acrylics with black India ink washes and collage, in his studio in the DuPont Circle area of Northwest Washington, DC.
Ron utilizes simple elements of art such as line, shape, color, texture and principles of design including pattern, harmony, balance, and variety to create a wide range of studies or explorations in abstract/non-representational designs.
Ron encourages viewers to simply enjoy his work and to take note of the many techniques he has employed while bringing to and taking away those things in his work which they feel appropriate.
