What I find most fascinating about photography is the camera's ability to capture images that human eye barely registers--either because the moment itself is fleeting or because the camera can focus on a detail that would otherwise be lost in the surrounding clutter. Much of my work involves shooting on the street, searching for that magic moment when people, location, and light all come together. I also enjoy still-life photography, focusing on everyday household objects and the shadows and reflections they cast in the ever-changing winter light, when the sun is low in the sky
