Groover Cleveland, an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator, has been exhibiting his drawings, paintings and prints in the area since the early 1990s. Over the last three years his work has been featured in group shows at the Nevin Kelly Gallery in Washington (Oct. 2008 and Nov.-Dec. 2009) and the Red Caboose Gallery in Vienna, Va. (April 2010), as well as in a two-man show with Elliott Negin at District Fine Arts in Georgetown (Feb.-March 2008).
Groover has a bachelor’s degree in art from Brown University, and studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Art Institute of Boston and Corcoran College of Art and Design.
